Day 87 – Photoshop
There is not a day that goes by when I’m on a computer that I’m not using Photoshop for one reason or another. It’s an amazing program and tool.
I feel like I have some pretty good skills at Photoshop (though not necessarily with design sense), but anytime I watch a program like PixelPerfect – I realize that what I know about the power of Photoshop has barely even scratched the surface.
I use it to create websites, logos (though I should use Illustrator – a program I’m planning on learning), touch up pictures, resize images for newsletters and the web and much, much more.
If you’ve never worked with Photoshop, it does have a steep learning curve, but once you learn the basics, then everything else kinda makes sense with it too.
You can download a free trial version for 30 days here. That being said. The program is ridiculously expensive at $700 to start (much cheaper if you buy it while you area a student).
Photoshop – thanks. You are the 3rd most used program on my computer after Outlook and Firefox. I truly appreciate the genius that went into creating your awesomeness.
